Yesterday was Ella's half birthday! 18 months old! We celebrated in our traditional way with half a cake and half a song. Then later that night, Ella snuck the rest of her cake into the living room and finished it!
No half cake for me, mommy, I eat my whole birthday cake.
Do you make a whole cake and then just cut it in half? Your half-cakes are beautiful! I remember Ella's first half-birthday...I can't believe she's already one-and-a-half. I'm so inspired by you, Lauren, as I think about giving birth in a few more months. I hope my little girl is as charming, smart, funny, adorable, and delicious as Ella!
